It is a privilege that we have the freedom to make choices of where to live, what to buy and what to eat – it is a privilege that many of us take for granted. Given that this past Sunday was Father’s Day, I spent quite a bit of time thinking about my dad and the lessons I learned from him at a young age. Dad was a traditionalist. He had a single job for his entire career and ended up retiring from it at age 65.  If there is such a thing as an "entrepreneurial gene" it was clearly inherited from my mother. Despite our differences, the lessons that dad taught me about the working world still ring true today.
